I have never purchased an assembly required R/C, but a comparble pre-assembled, runs about what they are asking around $100, especially with it being just an electric motor...Now if it were a gas motor (these are generally faster in speed) it would be higher in price, some go for around $300, but they are FAST!

That I am not sure of, because like I said before, I have only ever purchased pre-assembled ones... I am sure you could do a little bit of research, shouldn't take too long, to see how much, on average they run and see if you are getting a fair price...But I would assume if that same seller is selling the electoronics system, with a 99.3 feedback rating and being a "power seller", his price is prolly reasonable...
