Don't get me wrong, because I used to enjoy a manual, but I wanted to be able to enjoy this car in and out of heavy traffic.

Yes, most do put down much more consistent times at the track. There are a few freak M6 drivers that can duplicate their launches, but there more of an anomaly than the norm.

What do you think about straight pipes? i've heard a few SS's like that, and i actually think it sounds good. and it's a cheap mod. Then i was going to get cutouts.

Just trying to help out a friend. I think they sound good too and I'd definitely get some cutouts. I can't wait for Jason (IROC) to install mine this summer.

if i do get the SS, i'll probably spend less time in the lounge for a while, and be reading up on the v8 bolt on section. i have never clicked that subforum. lol

oh, i think i did check out the v8 section for some nitrous help a long time ago, when there wasn't a lot of info in the v6 section.
