In theory yes but it is not a linear equations no matter which formula you use. To weigh between 150-200 and bench 300-400 (raw) is a pretty substantial accomplishment. To weigh between 300-400 and bench 600-800 (the same being double body weight) is much more rare. You can see based on the records vs what the % of the bw was done....

These are the most common coefficients used. The second one factors in age as well.

Interesting stuff/numbers. I definitely prefer the "fit" look vs the "bulky" power lifter look. And that 6% Bodybuilder look is way too freaky/creepy looking for me. For me putting on muscle in next to impossible. I'm long/lanky sting bean body type. I've weighed the same forever, decades, 112-115 Lbs. Years ago I was doing powerlifting, got up to almost 125 Lbs, easily benching that, and was squatting 265 for reps. Too old now for heavy weights, and to afraid of risking injury. Now it's just about staying fit!

Had an amazing chest workout this evening. A little pissed about my weight dropping though. I was at 262 on Friday, and was at 255 earlier. Just gonna have to eat more! I want to hit that 275 mark!
