Prick top of cake with skewer. Drizzle or spoon glaze over top of cake.
I have this recipe as well and it's fantastic. Several of my coworkers will make it throughout the year and bring it in for birthdays and we make jokes about having to take breathalyzer tests before we can go back to work because you can really taste the rum in it. If you want to change the flavor of it, you can change the type of rum you use - I like Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. Yummy!

Okay I had a good day. I had an appointment for a haircut but had a couple of stops to make first. I still had some time to kill so I went shopping. I found a really cute black sundress for $4........No way I said so I tried it on. It fit like it was made for me. I still don't believe it so I head over to get it scanned. On the way I saw some cute Ruby colored ear rings marked $10 & 30% off..........No way again. I grabbed them & headed to a checkout. Had them scanned & sure enough it is true. They came home with me! I had found an equally cute white sundress a couple of weeks ago for $6. Both are on my packing list for C5 fest! Here are some pics.

Yum! Might have to try that. Sounds like one my mom used to make.

I LOVE cooking Thanksgiving dinner! Last year, my stepson was at his mom's, and my mom-in-law had to work, so we went out for dinner, my dad-in-law's suggestion. Never again. I hated that it didn't taste like my food. So, there will only be 4 of us for Thanksgiving this year, but probably enough food for 20. If you're anywhere near Tacoma, come on over!

I love Thanksgiving, but I don't miss the cooking. Dinners were sometimes 25-30 people. My house is too small for that now.

That's sweet! Thank you very much.

I have a date with my Hubby and the TV though. It's our first Thanksgiving together in person.

Detroit vs Green Bay Should be a great game.

Sounds like a great plan! I'll be cheering for Detroit, more specifically, Jason hanson - I went to college with him! (yes, I'm old...)
