Any " League Bowlers " Out there ?

Marvin, as you well know it sometimes happens.

We just got back today from our 2 game bowling match. My son and I took all 3 points. I shot 215 and 213. David shot 15 3 and 170. First game was close we won by less than 10 pins.

I wonder if there are any on-line leagues. That would actually be kinda cool.

159-180-160=499 ok night and split points taking 4. Lost last game by one point and I finish with a pocket 7-10 in 10th and got one pin.

179, 159, 158 = 496

I swear I'm in one of those crazy funks that you never escape from.

My release is funky, I'm throwing a lazy ball and when I throw a non-lazy ball I overpower it. I'm totaly lost. My team mate threw a 300 tonight so that was cool.

But I can't remember EVER struggling this bad.

Time to get back to the basics. Stop thinking and just relax. Your trying to over compensate and think to much.

Or it is what I call the January oil change. Seems like every year after Christams break I struggle for a few weeks like the lanes have taken on a new oil pattern or something. Then I come out of it.

COOL that your teammate shot a 300. Always impressive to see.

Well had a pretty good night ! 269 -188- 225 = 682 !

The 188 game I had 2- 4-7-10 splits ! and a 3-6-10 -4-7 split !! so even with 3 splits in that game I shot 188 . Thought I had another 700 series .

Spares will kill ya! I like to just practice my 7 & 10 pins in warm ups .

I have said it before and worth repeating again and again.

When practicing always shoot at the 7 pin on the first ball then throw your strike ball. Then switch lanes and do the same thing but throw at the 10 pin then strike ball.

Make a game out of it. Even try the 4 or 6 on the first ball.

Need to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE those spares.
