Just got my gun permit about s month ago. Up here in CT we can't have anything that "looks dangerous". That's actually how it's written. That and nothing more than a 10 round mag. This is my favorite buy out of the 5 guns I've gotten so far.

Anyone know anything about the Sig 556 DMR? I know people hated on them for their 1 in 10 twist barrel but they've changed to 1 in 8 it seems a couple years ago. I may pick one up.

What's up guys...I'm back again haha

I just bought a PSA completed lower and now I'm looking for some upper assemblies.

Do you have any suggestions? I'd like to stay reasonably priced and also would like it to have a quad rail.

I'm assuming any upper will fit the PSA lower? Also, the lower comes with no magazines can someone give me a link to where I can buy some please? I don't really know if they are all the same or if they are different. Thanks

I'm guessing your lower is mil spec. Any upper that is also mil spec will work (well pretty much any upper will work) As far as mags, any ar15 mag will work. I have a pmag to match my moe plastics, and i have some used ones from the military. They all work.

In terms of an upper, I like a 1 in 7 twist chrome lined. You could go hammer forged, but it probably isn't necessary.

You could do this http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...ng-handle.html and change the handguard. If you want to stay affordable.
I'd go with an LMT or BCM bolt carrier group personally.
What is your price range for a complete upper?

This is the lower I bought. I was going to put one together but just decided instead of fooling with it and only saving $20-30 I'd go ahead and have it put together for me.

Ideally I'd like to spend no more than $400

How much do the BCG/charging handle normally run?

If I get a quad rail hand guard can I still attach a fore grip to that?

Ideally, I'd like to put on an eotech and have canted iron sights or something along those lines.

What do you plan to attach to your hand guard? On a rail you can attach a fore grip.
I'd figure $150-200 into the BCG and CH.
You could look for a complete upper. Those quad rails are pricey it seems.
