Because of the engine's design you cannot do headers for the LFX, Paul. Sad but true, hence another reason to love my LLT.

That's what I'll be putting on mine someday! Poor LFX guys, I'd hate not being able to add that mod to my engine.

Anyway-- I'm not just a silly girl and I know what I'm talking about, I promise No headers for the new V6 Camaros. The 2012 can't add headers because the LFX combines the exhaust manifold with the cylinder head into a single aluminum casting.

yeah, I was just lookin at that...... that's odd..... kinda like how the sonic/cruze combines the turbo/exhaust manifold.... It saves a bit of weight though.... doubt headers would add much more than what that setup does.... you could make a "downpipe" for it and maybe squeeze out a few more

Yeah, it saves a bit of weight but it's only making 11 more HP stock... headers will add a nooooice boost to mine. I've already the '12 beat with just the CAI on my '11. LFX is just a limiting engine. I like the fact we can do mods like headers to the LLT, it's looking like performance-wise a turbo is going to really be the only option for the LFX... expeeeeensive!
