I will be purchasing one this weekend for sure. My eyes are burning out of the sockets right now. I only got about 3 hours of sleep last nite. I stayed up till 1:30am to finish my test for my online class. I could barely get off my couch this morning at 7am to go to work

I HAVE TO STAY AWAKE I have my 4 page passport application to fill out tonite

Asshole at the shop wants to take me for all I'm worth.

Wants to charge 1100 to rebuild the rearend WITHOUT a posi unit, or 1700 with.

Considering I could get a complete, ready to bolt in 9" for a few bucks more... I'm definitely not giving them my business. Hopefully I can get this worked out.

Jesus.. 'Ride 'em cowboy' is right. Hope you gave 'em the finger while you had it moved (if you had it moved.)

9" it if you can't get a better deal. Won't fault you for having an LT1 after that.

On another note, I wish I could get a 9" rear end for the 5th Gen for around $1,700. $1,700 would just cover new axles.
