I wish I could take advantage of one of the buy 2 get 1 free sales, but they're only for physical copies of games. I plan on buying ALL DIGITAL for this generation because I am absolutely tired of swapping discs all the time.

CoD games haven't been very good in a long time now. Just read the stories online for each game and you're fine. You can skip AC 3 though.

I don't know why it's always been a love or hate CoD for everyone, I haven't heard many that like both CoD and battlefield

I loved CoD 4 and Black Ops 2 was fun, but the rest I haven't been a fan of. I've always liked Battlefield.

The hdmi cable that's coming with the system, will it be any good? Or should I upgrade the cable to the monster cable I see everywhere for 4k up scaling?

The HDMI cable is fine. I am in the video industry and CAN NOT BELIVE BestBuy can get people to pay $80+ for a HDMI cable. It is a digital signal, so if the TV receives the signal your getting the picture. Do you have a 4K tv?? Ballin hard.

Edit: I did a little more research because I was curious. The latest HDMI technology is 1.4 so as long as you have a HDMI 1.4 cable your up to date. I don't see any reason sony would not include this HDMI 1.4
