ok, i just did a quick google search (i know, i'm a cheater, but bored as well) and saw an article that says gas is 4.03 a litre. then i went to a currency converter site and it says thats 2.19 USD. lmao.

Well since you cheated, I'll give you what I payed in Turkish lira's. 279 lira's

And I payed 4.09 a litre, I buy gas from BP.

ok, i don't understand how that works out. 4.09 is only 2.23 rounded up. and 20gallon tank....am i missing something?

20 gallons is around 70 litres or so. The price, 4.09 lira's is per litre, not gallon. I got gas for 4.09 and payed 279 lira's. I got about 68 litres of gas.
