Saiga's are fun, ive owned mined for several years now. Took mine to a three gun match when they first started coming out and by the end of the match my Saiga was banned from ever being used again.

You got to love the saiga. First thing you need is the 20 round drum.

Gun shows, are they worth attending anymore? Anyone still finding any deals on firearms or ammo?

Trying to determine if I want to pay a cover charge to attend one this coming weekend.

For guns, yes.

For ammo, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are going after the popular calibers (9mm, 40, 45, 223, etc) don't bother.

I'm shopping around for a M&P Shield 9mm. I have found one in Alabama, a few hours away, for $414; MSRP = $449. I have also found a couple in Florida a few hours away for about the same price.

I'm assuming the show is going to cost around $10 to get in. They are holding it at a local Hasan Shriners Temple, my guess in their basketball gym. I figure it will take me all of five minutes to browse all the vendor tables.

I've been really busy, and was dragging my feet. Once I sent the information it was done in a day.

That's a whole different story. I've heard 6-8 months, but you can submit everything online now. Hopefully that speeds up the process some.
