Again, I will point out how homerism alters your perspective. Ryan is clearly outside the tackle box before any of the straddling happens...this is just as the trip starts. Either way, it doesn't matter because the defender played that about as perfectly as you can. Great play by him.

The more everyone proves we are right, the more butthurt he'll be. He along with his butthurt falcon brethren are the only ones saying it was a penalty. Everyone else says it wasn't. Let the child believe what the child wants to believe. Everyone else knows it wasn't.

Either way, you are wrong on this. It was a good no-call, and you have made absolutely no case to show that it was a penalty in any way.
Jones didn't trip...he was making a cut...Mills pushed down and Jones balanced himself with his right arm, dug in and started driving his feet to the right. Then Mills straddled him..his hands still on his back, pushing him to the ground.... Mills hands were where they had been since Jones was 2 yards in the end zone...on Jones back

You call that incidental contact...the rules call it holding and illegal contact.

It's all shown in the video...It's all proven in the rules.

Frankly, Ryan is lucky he didn't throw the ball on time because that would have been a pick because of the great coverage by the DB.

I just don't see your interpretation of what happened. I didn't see any illegal contact or interference by the DB at all on that play. Just great coverage.

Dude now your really seeing things. When Jones jumped in the air for the ball he was 3-4 feet above Mills. Mills can out jump Jones? No way! Impossible! Why do you think he pushed, straddled, and knocked him on the ground? It's the ONLY way he could defend him. And he got away with it.

Watch it again.

Buy some glasses.

Perhaps you should attempt to read what I wrote. When Jones cut back and to the sideline, IF the ball had been on time, Miller was in a perfect place to intercept the ball, laying out with and in front of him. Because he tripped, Ryan held the ball and left the pocket. I wasn't speaking of the actual pass he made, just to spell it out for you since you misunderstood what I said in my previous post. Just like I've had to spell out the rules for you as well. Hopefully you've learned something about football today.

I read what you said. I posted it again here so you could read it again. It's not what you said the first time. Put the crack pipe down now please.

This was a fade to the corner of the end zone play to Jones. The throw wasn't made because Jones was held and straddled to the ground. Why would Ryan throw a ball to someone who is on the ground?

When the ball was thrown...the only one who could make a play on it was Jones. Mills can't jump that high.

No one tripped. No one fell down. Jones was held, straddled, and shoved to the ground. It's clear in the video.

I've proven my points. Tell your lies if it makes you happy.

You say this was a fade route? You do know what a fade route is, right?

When a receiver makes a cut like this back to the front pylon of the endzone...well, that is not a fade. You keep proving your ignorance about football. I suggest you stop...you're embarrassing yourself.

Great picture....it clearly shows Mills with both hands on Jones left shoulder, pushing down from behind...just before he jumps on his back and straddles him. 7 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. You see the arm check by Malcom Jenkins (27) against Sanu(12)? That is legal.

I suggest you stop....your busting yourself in your own lie's.

Sure he has hands on him, however I don't see him pushing. That's in your imagination.

What isn't in my imagination is the fact that you just called a curl a fade. No lie...that's lack of knowledge about football.

Next post will be about how it would have been a fade but the piggy back ride and the shooter in the book repository forced Jones off the route. Dude is delusional.

I read articles on ESPN, CBS, Bleacher Report, Deadspin, and even went to an Atlanta Falcons fan forum. Joe Lombardi Madden here is the only one beating the PI, I mean holding, I mean illegal contact drum.
