The car existed in 2000 that was its first year but it did not claim its speed title until 2005 the aero claimed its speed title in 2007 so its actually a tie for who held the title the longest.
Thats not the Veyron 16.4, which is the car that claimed the title in 2005. Seems that car you posted has a naturally aspirated W18 not a W16 with 4 turbos (hence, 16.4) and makes little more than half the power that the 16.4 does.

Also, it is not a tie. The 16.4 took the title in mid April, 2005. The Ultimate Aero TT took it in mid October 2007. Mid April 2005 to mid October 2007 is 30 months. Mid October 2007 to early July 2010 is 32 months and a couple weeks. 32 months is longer than 30 months. And if we were to use your logic, it would be unquestionable that the SSC held it longer: 2005-2007 is 2 years, 2007-2010 is 3 years. Either way, its not a tie.

Doesn't matter, the 16.4 which held the record for worlds fastest car, did not exist in 2000.

so the camaro began existing in 2006? concept cars hardly qualify as production models. the the Bugatti EB 18.4 you posted doesn't even have the same name as the Veyron, it has half the horsepower and a top speed claim of about 180....

Yes, in 2005 it got the record. The date was April 19th, so as long as the 2005 edition of the Guinness Book of Records went into print after that date, it only makes sense it would be included. Anyway, the location was Volkswagens Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany. The speed was 408.47 km/h (253.8 mph). The car that did it was the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. The engine in the car was a 8L W16 quad turbo producing 1001 metric horse power.

This is not the same car you posted. According to the link you provided, that car makes 555 hp out of a naturally aspirated 6.3L W18. Its top speed is listed as a hair over 300 km/h. It never held any top speed records. The Veyron 16.4 took the record from the McLaren F1, which still holds the record for the fastest naturally aspirated car (and therefore, is faster than the car you linked to, what ever it is).
