I like your picture, I've got a 69 camaro cov, hugger/white strips, I wish they would have kept the hugger code for the new camaro. maybe they will and I can get my time warp snapshot,

I was surprised to see my local Dodge dealer (Spitzer Dodge if anyone knows this area) has a black R/T out front with the fender stripes that they're selling for true MSRP. Everyone else is marking them up.

Believe it or not, I was sharked by a sales rep too when I went to look at it, yet I found it weird that the sales guy was trying to sell me that car when he could clearly see I was only 21. I'm surprised he didn't think I was just another kid dreamer or tire-kicker. Maybe it's because I told him I was capable of putting $10,500 down and had a credit score of 710.

The Camaro arriving is a godsend for anybody who actually wants a Challenger since if the Camaro is competitively priced, it'll force them to stop gouging the price to the stratosphere.

it will be all the small differences that the trained eye will see, that will seperate a Camaro enthusiast from the random person that thinks he/she is seeing too many of the same Camaros!

needless point IMO

When the banks won't finance...nothing sells...period. Demand doesn't even matter anymore.

True that. Only once in a blue moon is anyone able to buy a brand new car whole anymore. My mother did three years ago, but then again that's because she sold my old house and only bought a 2005 PT Cruiser.

Just for clarity, the Camaro platform was engineered by GM Holden in Australia. No way to deny that.

And also for the record, a local dealer has 2 Dodge Challenger RTs on the lot and one is marked at 31k and another at 35k. I dunno the options but it doesn't seem tooo bad. They're also both autos.

Sounds like they are going for close to sticker then. I priced the R/T just out of curiousity and yeah it can cost that much for a pretty loaded R/T. The Auto option costs almost 1k as well. So it sounds about right.

Yeah, I thought so. Right around MSRP with a few options or so.
