Why do you hate the motorcycles so much?
I would bet anything that the Supra in the FF was nothing more than a base model. Why would they waste such a "special" model when all they'll do is trash it or chop it up for camera work. All these high-end models you see in movies(i'm talking HIGH-end,not Mustang GT's or Camaro SS's) are basically the base V8 or whatever models faked to look like M5's or GT500KR's. These cars are too expensive and rare to just tear up.
Knight Rider uses a Mustang GT automatic. BMW films used a standard 5-series to double for the M5. The Dukes of Hazzard movie used 318 or 6 cylinder junker Chargers for most shots and they sure as hell wouldn't use an original 440 or Hemi Charger. It's all fake and c'mon,FF is a horrible example to use for anything...........

Graceful as in wallowy over bumps? The BMWs are 9 times out of 10 the sportier better handling cars. More connected.

Supras are capable of power, but I'd have an M3 over it. You continue to be happy hating BMWs.

wrong.

M3 will beat a stock supra??

There is a reason one of those cars is still around, and the other is collecting dust in some asian kids backyard.

And saying 'M' Series BMW's are poorly made makes you sound ignorant and uneducated.

Mercedes has always been the softer more washed down German company out of the big three (BMW, BENZ, PORSCHE)

The 135i is VERY close to the new V8 M3 from 0-60 and the 1/4. But thats where it ends. A 135i with an SSTT chip will keep up easily with a great manual driver or the automatic in the 135i.

yea my bad they arent really driving the M3, must be a look alike.

and dont blame it on bad driving, it shows the inside of the cars, the guy drove just fine.

the New m3 is a slouch. its way too heavy and not enough torque. im not sure what your argument is.

and i dont aim to waste your time. if you dont belive me... tough shit. ive driven these cars. i own these cars. i know.

the only place where the M3 shines is on a track and at high RPM's.

so what is the point of comparing the 2?

the new m3 is faster off the line.
faster on a roll.
better on the track.

what else is there to compare.
you call 0-60 in 4.1 a slouch, then you must be driving supercars.

I agree they shouldnt have stuck a v8 in there, but it is still good.

it doesnt do 4.1. even the M5 barely does 4.1 and the M5 is MUCH faster.

lets talk numbers for a sec... 3800lbs, 415 hp, 240lbs of torque. vs. 3900lbs, 425hp and 400lbs of torque. sounds like the second would win right? well thats the SS vs. the M3, and my guess is the SS WILL BEAT THE M3.

so that M3 sure as shit aint doing 4.1

The 1 series is faster off the line. its lighter. has much more torque. that one is obvious. but its shocking at how long the 1 series actually keeps that lead off the line.

the M3 will win on rolls

and it will tear the 1 series apart on a track.

im not comparing the car to super cars, but i am fortunate enough to have first hand expirience to alot of these cars, and am very un emotional when i compare them. so im not in any way biast with one against another.

No I understand what you are saying and I aint saying you are bias either but the 135 does 0-60 in 4.8 and the new m3 comes in a t 4.4(I was wrong about the 4.1) so the m3 is faster and better in all aspects to the 135. Also the camaro wouldnt even keep up to the m3 only going to 60 in 4.6. Also you are forgetting that the Bmw also has dual clutch which makes it launch perfectly off the line.

So I still stand by what I said earlier. The m3 wins in every category.

And the Camaro doesn't cost $56 thousand, etc, etc...you take the difference and invest a fraction of it into the Camaro, or you could make a driver mod, mix in unofficial/not final Camaro numbers (and I'm assuming best-case M3 numbers) -- and you'll have a destroyed M3 left on the track.

HAD to put it out there since you said that...

yea in a straight line but not on the track...the m3 is built to dominate the track.
