I have no idea what you're talking about. All the parts for my Chevy are hand made and fitted by a master craftsman down the street.

But if you think about it, 550@Wheels is a LOT of power. Never mind what the trq would be. I remember a guy shredded at Moroso and I think he had like 565...I had used the part that Garage described on mines, it stop the pumpkin from twisting. So yeah I cannot dispute this claim, because I have seen the stock IRS go at 565 with stickies.

But answer me this, would you as a Camaro owner trust your IRS at 550 with stickies ? Just a question btw, as I do not know the limits of a stock Camaro IRS.
Actually you were 50 short.

I would trust the 550 on my stock IRS, but not for long. That would be me just being cautious, and doesn't necessarily reflect if the Camaro's IRS can hold that power reliably for a good amount of time. Saying this, I heard/read it can hold up to 600 stock. And if I'm not mistaken, the HPE550 runs on the stock IRS and Hennessey seems to not be having problems out of it with its 550+ RWHP.

It has been discussed to death that the IRS in the Camaro is the same in the ZR1 and CTS-V and has been tested at 650+rwhp with no issues during its development. Alot of the Mustang fans still believe the myth that todays IRS are fragile no matter how well designed they are to take punishment. Don't get me wrong whether it is a SRA or an IRS, Both can break.
