Customers shouldn't be forced to make tradeoffs or "get used to" key attributes like the Camaro forces. GM assumed the customer base would when they only talked to the "Camaro faithful" instead of a full blown clinic. Sales would indicate they were wrong in this assumption.

For me? Visibility is poor. If you understand the tools and methodologies on how a car is packaged (I do and wrote several papers on them) it's just plane bad. High belt and slammed roof designs (Ed Welburn) do nothing to help.

Also, could I have adapted to the trunk limitations for 2 sets of golf clubs? Sure I too could have "got used to" leaving the back seat down all the time to create the trunk space that the other competitors in this segment have. Or driven around with the bags in the trunk but the drivers in the back seat. LOL you could easily get 2 sets in an ATS coupe, which was built off of the same architecture. Many have mocked me but it's the single reason I didn't get a Camaro. And when you talk sales volumes, you can't give people reasons to NOT buy your product. And getting used to it doesn't play for sales volume.

I'll say for the 1,000th time, it's the best Camaro ever, it's just a crappy coupe.

Always keep in mind, this is the internet. Just because it's not a problem for you, doesn't mean it isn't a problem for someone else. I see it every day.
I don't think it should be stated as getting used to it... It's more of you should expect it. I've owned sports cars for 40 years and all have had some type of blind spot or limitations on storage... I personally don't want an oversized heavy Muscle/sports car just so someone can put their kids in it or their dang golf clubs...

Go drive a new C8 Corvette, it's worse than our GEN6 Camaros.

Bro that's part of the vision complaints too. Although admittedly that was lower on my vision complaints for the car.

What really annoyed me was the tiny windshield. If you're first in line at a traffic light you often have to stop faaaaaaarr away because moving any closer would obscure the traffic light. The windshield is too damn small to see it from up close.

Also, the rear 3/4th blind spot sucks. There are certain intersections and merge point in my city where I would have to intentionally avoid because traveling them in the Camaro was too dangerous. I won't single out the Camaro for this, as plenty of sports coupes would have the same issue.

The trunk opening is HORRIBLE. I was fine with the trunk capacity, but the opening was far too compromised. GM ****ed up with this, especially when the Cadillac cars had much better trunk openings and shared the same platform.

Also the backseat legroom is the worst among the pony cars.

Everyone here says they got used to the above issues, but the Camaro sales numbers sure as hell tell a different story. Most buyers don't want a car where they need to 'get used' to all those compromises. They will immediately dismiss it after sitting in it. GM made a killer track/autocross car but a terrible coupe.

As to performance I agree. There almost every Camaro is a better engineerd all around Performance car where the Mustang is the better perfomance Car.

But I have driven a number of Mustangs as rentals mainly and I enjoy them. Except for GT Manuals, the transmission is quirky and shifty shifting. Mustang visibility is several notches better, GTs handle pretty well, and the Mustang interior has more room and has more interesting styling. A fun drive but you see yourself coming and going.

But for more driving fun give me a M6 6th gen Camaro. World class.

The only facts about reviews, generally, is that they're opinions. At this point, we all know the quirks, compromises, and benefits of the car. Nothing anybody writes is going to be ground breaking at this point. Thus, who cares.

To be fair, Camaro is far from worst.

1. For look, BMW pisses off many Bimmer fans in G8x M3/M4 its hideous grill, and BMW doesn't care and doesn't want to change that.

2. For electric, GM doesn't plan to follow Ford putting their iconic pony car nameplate in an electric crossover at least.

Every car forum has its old-school fans and owners, Camaro isn't only one. Old Corvette fans refuse to accept MR layout, and old Hummer fans don't like Hummer going electricity.

Golf bags are the easy comparison for most folks. But long gun cases for trips to the range or the cabin in deer or duck season are likely to be just as difficult to pack.

This makes me want to see a pic of a deer lashed down to the hood of a Camaro.

No, He is not just using the Golf bag as a general reference. He has complained for years about how he couldn't pack his golf bag and he sold his car....
