IMO if I'm going to play $100K+ it better blow everything on the road out of the water. And that is what the ZR1 does...

I've seen them for a while now and don't like them.

In fact, the irony here is that the first Audi to have them (I don't know what it was) was reviewed by Clarkson himself, and he made a huge deal out of how he hated the "Fairie Lights" (What they call christmas light strings in the U.K.).

On a side note, did anyone read the ignorant comments in these videos on Youtube? Some dumbells actually think that Clarkson was not trying to make the car handle like that.

GM needs to totally chack the press cars over before clarkson gets them, whenever he does get one they seem to break or fall apart

I can understand not liking the A8 or the LED's, but they definitely don't look cheap.

But for my money I'd prefer a ZR1 or a GT3. The A8 is attractive and definitely a nice car, but it doesn't really do it for me. Also, since you can't really go 200 mph in America except at Bonneville and the Texas Mile- I'd at least want a car that I could do donuts with.

For how much Clarkson and May hate us, I still love them. Hammond all the more since he's actually open minded about the US.

Yes you just hit the nail on the head i wouldn't take this review with a grain of salt obviously some of you would take the R8 over the ZR1 and vise versa (though to most of you it's "just a corvette" kinda like the camaro eh?) i could honostly care less what people thing about my car as long as I have fun driving it because ever time someone makes fun of my car i laugh and tell them they're right cause they're not the ones that get to enjoy the drive
