Its all about power to weight ratio. People tried explaining this to you.

We don't even know the specs anyway of weight/HP ratio's. You can't claim something that might not even be true.

IF the ATS-V is considerably heavier then the Subi, your statement is wrong.

A prototype of the ATS Coupe hasn't even been seen yet. Production ready?

The Celica will be NA and I bet will start in the low 20’s to compete with the 2.0l Genesis Coupe. The Subaru will probably be FI, AWD with unknown hp. Depends on where they intend on positioning it. Currently the 2.0l engine is not sold outside of Japan. We get the 2.5l here in the states. The STI currently weighs in at 3,300lbs and I’d bet this would be a tad lighter maybe 3,100-3,200.

I think it would be smart to make a 265hp WRX ver. And a 305-320hp STI version. It would sell just fine. They could charge $1,500-2,000 more for the coupe version. Hopefully they would make the STI variant more hardcore than the current GR STI which is a bit soft in stock form.

toyoda has said that the price will be in the low 20k range.

even then what kind of common sense leads you to believe that a 200 hp car would sell at mid 30k? or a 250hp car for even higher? some things should be thought through before typed
