In Vegas we apparently get adults attending ours.. these "parades" do not happen. Crowds don't line up to be slaughtered by idiots. We enjoy each other's cars and leave like adults.

Compensating for the Voodoo's feminine power band and lack of low end torque. Why any one would do so exiting a turn (TC off), in any modern RWD performance car is beyond...

I don't think I'd call that a feminine power band. I drove my buddies GT350 and I instantly fell in love with that motor. It's something special for sure and the usable power range is from about 3500 to well over 8k...quite an experience!

That was the problem here. Weak below 3500 rpm so (assume) he over compensated with excessive throttle in a left turn.

"Weak" or not, nobody should be accelerating at a high rate of speed like that on public roads. Especially with crowds out there. It's never ok.

Well, they tout those things as "hi rpm", "hi revving", 8k redline, etc., etc.,...and guess what happens? Just can't resist putting their foot into it....It's what it's "supposed" to do...

I think that whole hi-rev, hi-rev "sound", is fool's gold and just a gimmick...a dangerous (for the street) gimmick...Let Ford have it, the Camaro doesn't need it...Just look at the reviews for the Best Driver's Car and Lightening Lap...That hi-rev Ford is good for some "sound", but that's about it....

Absolutely. It was an insane maneuver.

The GT350 ranked higher than the camaro in both the lightning lap and best driver's cars. Not gods gift to cars, but very obviously not a gimmick LOL

Performance cars nowadays are ALL too powerful for the street (or "gimmick" as you like to call it). You lay into a camaro or corvette, and you will be playing with fire too.

I was pointing out why he might have given it way too much gas. The Voodoo is torque deficient at low rpm so he had to in order to break the tires loose. It's a track engine so no shame. As you say, these cars are ALL way to powerful to nail in a turn like guys had to in the old days.

I've been around the block way to many times at 50 years old and I have owned many Chevys, Fords and Mopars. I'm not blind and know a great ride when I experience it. The GT350 ain't no damn gimmick and the guy that wrecked this one should not have been behind the wheel of that car. Some of you guys are so damn brand loyal you can't even respect something special because you see through blinders.

I respect Ford's advancements just as well as GM's...give it a break.

Did you just used the word "BRAND LOYAL" on a CAMARO forum ?
in the words of Prince Humperdinck .. "I wouldn't say such things if I were you"
if you feel the need to defend mustang owners overall.. please do so in the ford forums
