What a beautiful tribute...I've lost both my parents (my Dad last yr), and what you said brought a tear to my eye, but in a good way...very nice...

Sorry for you loss and i know how hard it must be. I lost my dad and my grandfather within 8 months of each other this past year. At my age i can understand a grandfather but losing a dad at the age of 19 is especially hard. These two both raised me equally and i can relate to how tough it is. Again I hope all is well for you and your family. Things will get better!

It was something my Grandma sent me when my Grandfather passed and I was stuck in Iraq. Was taking it hard then she sent me this and made things alot easier.

I know it hurts now, but remember the good times. Makes things easier.

True story, that goes to show they never do really leave us.

My grandfather had been sick for quite a while. For years he was fighting and in and out of the hospital. The hospital finally told my family to just send him home and make him comfortable. He always had a saying about not worth a "Buffalo nickel" When he died, my mom found a buffalo nickel on the ground outside her car when she was leaving. Our Puppy "Sir Rusty Pooh Bear" was born on the day that my grandfather died. And I swear he acts just like my grandfather. He even likes the same type of ice-cream that my grandfather liked. Everytime I start to think about my grandfather, no matter where I was, Rusty will show up and give me this look and I can almost hear my grandfather telling me it will be all right. My prayers are with you Lisa, and remember no matter what, it does get easier.

You will never forget her, but know she will never forget you. God Bless.

Life continues

I just wanted to say thank you all once again. The memorial service went just as I had hoped, lots of family and friends, lots of memories and humor. After, a bunch of us went out for good Cajun food and listened to wonderful southern blues. I am totally at peace and I know she will watch over me always. I am truly blessed to have so many good friends. And for my family here, you have truly touched my heart.

Sorry for your loss I too, lost my DAD nearly 20 yrs ago, the day after Christmas. I am sure that you both admired each other for all your accomplishments. And I am sure the time you spent here recently will be the most cherished and best moments of your life...I bet ALL of the folks here wish they could with you they would. But we are here in spirit....

God Bless...
