We just got around 8 inches of snow where I am, and it's showing no signs of stopping until around 6pm tonight. The weathermen were only calling for 1-3. This is why I have trust issues.

We got 19 inches here in the Detroit area. I took the car out last night @ about midnight when we had somewhere around 15 inches. Managed to traverse the neighborhoods just fine. Looking forward to driving around today with well over 15 inches on the road. Will have to take it slow because I'll be plowing with the front bumper.

Fresh snow -pretty stuff - great for building snowmen, igloos, and going cross country and downhill skiing! I spent my first 25 years in the Mohawk Valley of Upstate NY where I did plenty of that stuff. Then Uncle Sam "hired me", moved me around for 10 years (NJ, AR, AZ, NH, IL, and Germany). Eventually all that landed me in south GA. I've been here for 25 years and must say there is nothing about snow that I miss. Nothing!

I don't mind, this is the first car I've had in 10 years that has a working heater let alone heated seats!

I am so jealous!

And to anyone who is above 32 degrees, I am jealous of all of you.

I just drove a hour in, what my weather app correctly calls "freezing fog", with no fog lights, and all season tires.

I take it that most members on this forum prefer cold, snowy weather. High 70s to low 80s forecast for the next week.
