Looks great here, even if it has a Fusionesque feel to the front. The sides and rear need to have that muscular look to go with it.

Plus, everyone knows an upscale model (GT500/GT350 etc..) typically looks better than a base or introduction level v8 model.

If they can differentiate the car enough from the current s197 styling and make it look like the render here I think it'll do well here in America as well as Europe and Australia (was it also going to China?)

Go convince Ford to sell me an ST version with the 3.5 out of the SHO with some aggressive body panel changes for 25,000 dollars...

The impala and fusion really look good. This next mustang will look good at first, but I think it will grow old fast just due to the overall corporate look nowadays.

I have always felt that it is a good thing that the Mustang and Camaro have their own unique styling from the corporate look.

I hope GM keeps the 6th gen unique unstead of making it look a 2 door Impala. Not that a 2 door Impala would look bad, but Camaro deserves its own style.

I don't think chevy will go the corporate route.. The mustang will be global so "I think" it will have to resemble all their other cars they make. If this was just a purely American mustang, no way in hell it would go this route.

IMHO, I think it is.

Is the Fusion a good looking car? For a sedan, I think so.

Should an American muscle/pony car have a nearly identical design to an aging sedan? No.

I really hope this isn't the new Mustang.. If it is, I don't think it'll make half the impact Ford thinks it will.
