This entire scenario is why I have been driving my Blazer more often. It just gets annoying.

For instance, driving along on a two-lane divided highway (2 lanes each direction) minding my own business in the right lane when I come up on a slower car in the right lane. So I switch to the left to pass and the slow car speeds up to match the speed I've set on the cruise control. Really guy?

Or, driving through traffic on the same highway and a person gets right up on your rear bumper when you're in the left lane passing the slower traffic. So, after you get past the slow traffic you move back to the right lane to let them pass but they pull in right behind you in the right lane, still riding your bumper. Really guy?

Or, the left lane driver traveling at less than the speed limit and has absolutely no idea that he is in the wrong by camping in the left lane and is giving the glare/middle finger to every car that passes him using the right lane. But when you come up on him in a Camaro, he decides to speed up just to block you in behind the 18-wheeler up ahead. And once he gets along side the tractor trailer, he slows back down to match the hauler's speed. Really guy?

I don't think your dumb. I like to school the ignorant from light to light when the conditions are right for it, i.e. I'm alone, the road we're on is straight and there's very minimal traffic.

Just this morning, taking my boy to daycare, an Audi A4 revs me at a light. Really??!! Young kid...I roll my window down and before I can say a word, he says, "Lets do this!" I tell him my boy is in the back, or he'd see fading Camaro taillights real quick!

I can't drive my Mustang anywhere without someone trying to race me ... 99.9% of the time I ignore them. Wouldn't waste my gas on most turds out there. I don't get to upset cause I was like that back in my young days.

In my opinion there are more cool people out there than idiots. I get a lot of thumbs up from most American make car owners.

We've had our ZL1 vert for a couple of weeks and I'm tired of Mustang owners pulling up and revving their engines. Today some as*h*** pulled up behind me doing burning outs at 30-40 mph. I felt like calling the cops to get his idiot off then streets. He's a menace and I was carrying my 7 year old in the car.

I didn't buy this car to race, I have other cars for that purpose on the track. My car is to enjoy cruising with my 2 small kids.

So what do you do when these idiots act like this?

I laughed at one today. It really made him hopping mad, which made me laugh more

I always have random cars trying to egg me on while I drive my Mustang.

However, if I see a car I like (Camaro's, Challengers, Vettes, etc.) I wave/nod and throw a friendly rev.

I think the hype of the ZL1 has caught the attention of many other cars, not just Mustangs. Personally, I'd love to run a ZL1 to see how well I do or if I can even beat one/keep up with one. Same goes for a GT500, Vette or any other higher end cars that come from the Factory fast as all hell.

I do love me some Ashen Grey ZL1's, ROOL:

Same here man I thumbs up cars that look and sound bad ass... Regardless of what make they are. Driving these cars we shouldn't get offended if someone revs us or tries to bait us on. It comes with the territory. BUT I agree with the OP if their is kids in the car come on guys no baiting allowed smh...

I get my share of SS and imports who do the same to me. Call me an old fuddy duddy but the price of my rear tires are over $300/each and the state of Floriduh has raised the price of speeding tickets a lot over the last 5 years in order to generate revenue. I have nothing to prove on the streets. If you want to do things like that, go to a track with others to do the same. I have no interest in street racing. It can be very expensive and dangerous. I just turn up the Iron Maiden loud enough not to notice them anymore.

Seems like overkill to have a ZL1 which was meant for the track with all the suspension, supercharger, only to drive it at slow speeds.

Maybe you should have gotten the v6 convertable then

Some people just buy things to say, "Hey look at me I have a ZL1 or gt 500 blah". Just ignore the speed racers and enjoy your car. Or give them the spanking they deserve.
