I believe the Z/28 lights are the 'normal' lights. The other ones come with the RS package. Same goes for the chrome strip on the front fascia.

yea, I like the Z/28 too even the rear likes look nice on it. but its because it's a different package car. so to me it should look different and the color to me is what makes the car look so nice. I guess somebody need to put the Z/28 in different colors . I haven't seen nobody photoshop the colors.

The throw-back look of the tail lights got me thinking. I remember a pic, probably on the Chevy Web site, front end shot of a 2010 Camaro with a '69 Camaro in the water reflection below it. Couldn't find it, but I did find this...

With that being said, anyone want the real '69 look can go to AmericanSportscar.com.

Most Chevrolets are moving towards this quad element design. Impala has it too if you look closely.

Hate to say it but the '14 looks disgusting to me. I would never have the desire to own one.

I can't get over how everyone focuses so much on the taillights when half of the ass end of the car is covered in black plastic now(can you say 2010 mustang anyone?). The taillights are the best part of the rear design on the 14s.

I dont really understand what the big deal is about the lights wrapping around the side a bit? Pretty much every Camaro since the late 2ng gens have had a wrap around taillight of some kind. Even they 4th gens tails wrapped around just a little bit. Whats the bit deal?!

EDIT: Found this in another thread. Perfectly explains what I'm talkin about

First gen taillights are still the similar trapezoid shape - just flat instead of wrapping around the bumper.

What does a "ricer at heart" have anything to do with liking taillights that are a direct descendant from the Camaro taillights from 1974 through 2002?

Since we're sharing pictures -- let's look at the heritage of Camaro taillights... Flat, trapezoid shaped 1967 to 1969... Two circles 1970 to 1973... Wrap-around trapezoid 1974 to 2002... Two circles 2010 to 2013... Wrap-around trapezoid 2014+...

"Late 5th Generation":

"Early 5th Generation":

4th Generation (there were two styles 93-96 and 97+ but it's just a lense change, so I'm not going to post separate pics):

3rd Generation:

Late 2nd Generation:

Early 2nd Generation:

1st Generation, though flat, carries the same trapezoid shape:

Sweet, i really see the resemblance and how it is more of an evolution from previous Camaros.

This car is supposed to be a Retro of the 60s camaro . So everything supposed to look like those. that's why nobody agrees. Not 60s to 2002 camaro. lol All of those years put together to make one camaro would look crazy probably .Heńce why people Don't like those taillights on. a 60s looking camaro. So I guess GM used 70s to 2002 taillights on a 60s camaro. I agree with that and can see that completely .So now people understand

If i remember correctly, when the Camaro came out, GM was pretty set the Camaro is not a retro car, but a new modern design with a few retro cues thrown in.
