Even better, I did not get stuck.
Sounds Fun!!!!

We threw a surprise 75th birthday party for my best friend's mom. She's been my best friend for 27 years, so her family is like my own... well, better than my own! It was really fun to have 4 generations of family together!

I work on the road and met up with a co-worker for a break at a convenience store. We put in 3 bucks each and bought 2 scratch off tickets, ended up winning $50 and cashed out with $25 each

A couple of things. I finally dipped into the 250 lb mark after a long weight loss plateu. So far that makes 64 lbs lost since Jan 1st of 2012.

Seeing my granddaughter and how much she has grown.

Knowing I will soon have 10 days off of work because of surgery.

Great idea for a thread! I wish the forum was littered with such!!

Mine is corny, but true. I smile every day that there isn't any sickness or pain in my family. I've lived thru loosing my Dad to cancer and lost to many friends and people I love to other things.

Everyday is a good day!

Think what most made me smile recently.

the bite the tires got in the pavement and
jumping up to 60 was a blast !

Right there with ya. I've lost a wife and father to cancer and I have had my own battle too.
My dad used to say "Any day you wake up on the right side of the dirt is going to be a good day".

I like to say, any day I'm vertical and not horizontal, is a good day.

Yes, that's true. I've learned through losses and devastating illnesses of my mom and husband that I should celebrate every day I have on earth and not put off til tomorrow what I can do today. I've always made sure my family knows I love them, but I spend a lot of time with my family. Last week was my birthday, so I had a lot to smile about, but a sweet note from my boyfriend's family really made me smile.
