Tanner,

If the bladder has been compromised they will be able to take it out, based on her age and other factors this is a real surgery that can be overcome. My Aunt had hers removed and OLD age killed her, 25 years with hers removed. My Mother had the same things but cancer was in more places, but they were able toscrape the bladder and slow things way down, because of her age 72 removal was not an option and since she already had a colostomy bag she didn't want another. Be strong my Brother, this can be overcome.

Just read this thread. I feel terrible for your wife and you. You will be added to our prayers as well.

My daughter, Rebecca, and I pray together at night. She is deeply saddened when I add names to our list. She is very compasionate and really cares about people. Much like her old man. Best wishes for you guys and good luck to her. Please let us know how it turns out.

I hate the word "cancer" Its probably the worst word ever!! I lost 3 close family members in the last 2 years to the "C" word. My prayers will be with you and Scott today!!

Thanks for all the prayers. She had her first treatment yesterday and she is doing fine. Now we look forward riding around in the Camaro and listening to the music we listened to in my old 68 Camaro when we were dating 27 years ago. Our Camaro should be here any day. They say it's down at the train yard and they don't control when it gets brought to the dealership. Once again, thanks for all the prayers.

I am sending love and prayers to you and your wife...you need the prayers as well, because believe me, it is very hard and takes an extreme emotional toll on the cancer patient and the family members that watch helplessly while their loved one suffers...I watched my mother and other relatives and friends suffer with cancer and I suffered right along with them...too many times, people forget about the caretaker and just focus on the patient, which is as it should be, however the caretaker needs our prayers to be strong for their loved one with cancer..............
So, that being said, I am praying for you and Amy...hang in there...there are a lot of people that care and prayer works in amazing ways...
