You had the same idea I do. But I am planning on getting a Veloster Turbo instead. A bit cheaper than the FRS and gets 38 mpg. Gas costing me $4.30 a gallon and 60 miles a day sucks. Plus the wear and tear and the expensive tires and oil changes. Will I be spending a bit more to have another car? Yes, but its worth it to keep the mileage down on my SS. I already have wheels, lowering, exhaust, intake and BOV on the list of mods I can't leave a car stock.

They are the same car both built by Subaru. The BRZ is roughly $1500 more because it has nav and HIDs both of which I don't want. IMO Subaru aren't any better cars or any better name than Scion. They are Toyotas after all (well this one is a Toyobaru )

Nice car, can you swap in a Porsche twin turbo in place of the boxer engine?

Nice choice!

When I learned Toyota (my first car) and Subaru (my second car) made a RWD love-child, it made bringing home the Camaro a tough call. I love both companies. But I got a great deal on the SS, and the BRZ/FRS didn't hit the local market until after purchase. Maybe for the next car.

Nice pick up. I have 5 scion xbs for my company and we love them. To all the people busting your balls tell not to hate lol. It's your money if you want to use it as toilet paper it's your perogative. I've got a 2010 camaro, 2005 hummer, 2012 explorer limited, and just purchased a gt 500..I drive my scion more than all for very same reason but I love my cars. I'm sure, like me you have worked hard for your money and not anyone here or OBAMA should give you hell..just sayin..

Rice? I don't see a huge wing, unpainted body kit and a bunch of cheesy graphics.
