The volume was cranked all the way up, with loud shrieking, other indescribable sounds and static in the background. We always thought it was just a TV with electrical problems... Then ran over to unplug the TV, but found that it was already unplugged!!! My dad picked the TV up off the stand and carried it down the hall, with it still blaring at full volume. Partway down the hall, the TV turned off and the lights in the room turned on instantly.

We didn't know what to make of the situation, but the TV was never brought into the house again...
This would freaaaaak me out

That would creep me out too.

My experience was a little more positive.

A bunch of us had been out of school for a year or two and we were out partying one Friday night. After the bars closed (12:45 AM or maybe 1 AM in Minneapolis at the time), we decided to head to a restaurant in Uptown to get some food. That particular area is charmed with old businesses with little parking and narrow, one-way, cobblestone streets, so we had to park a few blocks way and walk to the restaurant, which is fun on a summer night.

A stoplight controlled traffic at the last intersection we had to cross. As we waited on foot for the light to turn green, I was overcome with dread that once the light turned, one of us was going to trip and fall in the street and a distracted driver with blond hair who was paying attention to the opposite light and not the people in front of his car, would run over who ever fell.

Just then the light turned green and we started to cross in a not-so-orderly manner as everyone was drinking and people were horsing around.

That is when everything went into slow-motion.

We were half way accross the street when I saw the driver with blond hair looking to his left, focusing on traffic light of the opposing lanes. Bonnie, one of my co-workers, who'd consumed plenty, was about 6 feet ahead of me when she tripped and went face down. The driver didn't see her fall in front of his car. Our light turned yellow and I was freaking out. I started shouting at him, trying to get his attention, telling him not to go. I don't know if he saw or heard me. I reached down and grabbed her under her arms lurching her up to her feet. Our light was red and the distracted driver had a green light but thank God he finally saw us.

Bonnie, in her haze, thanked me for picking her up out of the street and asked me if there was something wrong because I looked as white as a sheet.

Call it whatever you like, premonition, Guardian Angels, whatever. I have no doubt.

Me too. And to this day, I can see that driver's face so clearly, I could draw his picture.

I'm probably the biggest skeptic and cynic in the world and the only reason I believe is because I have SEEN a spirit. I can still remember that day like it just happened. One morning as I was walking out of my room to go downstairs, something caught my attention. Straight in front of me, I saw a human figure with a white robe covered from head to toe float from one wall of the room into the next. I FROZE and turned WHITE. At least that is what my father told me. The weird thing is that the spirits aren't what you see in the movies. They are not transparent. Instead, it looked like a real solid thing....as if it was someone. Still to this day I can not explain what I saw...but I KNOW what I saw and it was NOT my eyes playing tricks on me. It wasn't the corner of my eye BS. It was DEAD ON FULL VIEW RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME.

BTW, I NEVER tell anyone about this because I'm afraid they would call me crazy...but since no one here knows me...it's all good! Feels so much better getting that out!

Weird Coincidence

One time when I was 18, I just left my house to go cruising around. I had no particular plans. I was about 5 miles from my house. I decided to take a short cut on a back street that was very random in order to reach a highway.

All of a sudden I look up and see my Dad walking down this side street. He smiled. He told me he had some kind of car problem. He was literally going to walk home to where we live.

I found him after he had only started walking for less than a minute. My dad is religious so we always assumed God sent me there to find him and pick him up.

I lived in a haunted house - double murder/suicide, cheating wife, lover and suicide husband. The lovers haunted the house, and were sighted on numerous occasions. I never saw them but believe.
I did have a "guardian angel" or ghost nurse when I was in the hospital. I would catch sight of her out of the corner of my eye pacing back and forth at the foot of my bed.

My best friend says a guy coming out of a hospital door walked right through her, that freaked her out. She said she could feel it as a cold chill as he passed through but he looked as solid as any of us.

I believe.
