Wow, that's horrible that your place has been hit twice! It sounds like you have a really organized crime ring in your area if your neighbor was hit too. That happened to my neighborhood years ago, where multiple homes were broken into but fortunately they caught the guys that were doing it and we haven't had any problems since. Good luck to you!

Not being nosey do u know the vin number? google it, it could show up something

I hate thiefs i had a guy i belive tried to steal my 67 camaro in the movie gallery parking lot, a guy was driving and the other guy got out and was looking around my car and inside i was watching from movie gallery and i was fine with it until he tried to open it which i had it locked and i ran out of movie gallery but he hurry and jumped back in the other guys vehicle.

I also had somebody i belive cut my gas line, cant prove anything. I got in it and started up the road about 20ft and backfired and the whole engine was going into flames and me and my papaw hurry and put it out and noticed a fuel trail. We had to redo all of the wiring and replace all of the hoses and repaint the hood.

The reason i say that is bc they was these ppl that lived not far from here always wanted to bum gas and a bunch of other stuff. Cough druggies

WTF, are you serious? basterds. Im soo sorry this happened to you. Its such a piss off, i have never seen these over here in Toronto, but if i ever do, ill try writing down the vin just in case.
Ive heard from people that theirs a chop shop somewhere around me so ive been pretty eery ever since. Got boomerang and Onstar, and home security alarm and cameras. Hope this never happenes to anyone but the sad truth is that it does.
I hope you find your car, i would never be at ease in your situation. Does your state have the Castle Law?

WTF? I hope you saved that text! The statute of limitations differs by crime and from state to state.

Regardless, take that straight to the police and see if they can do anything. It may be a stretch but a text confession and the original police report may get some results.

I hope he gets thrown in jail and becomes someones girlfriend for a long time.

I believe the statute for grand theft is three years, but it may differ from state to state. I think B&E is somewhere around 6 years.

I hope you saved the txt message too! Good luck to you.

Felonies can be up to 5 years. Problem is he could just say the text was a joke, idk if it would be enough evidence.

well, at least you get some closure and know what happened to it now. But that's really unfortunate that the car is now ruined forever.
