Dart, the 1.4 turbo with 160HP/184 pd ft torque backed by a dual clutch tranny seems great with me
Or even the 184 HP 2.4 R/T. THe hyundai is so small and what i have read as far as acceleration and steering is really disapointing. The DCT transmission is even pretty bad and adds over 1/2 a second to the 0-60 time compared to the manual. As for people shitting on Chrysler and Hynundai quality, my sister in laws Kia Optima and my 07 Jeep Patriot have both been Far and away more relaible than my brothers 09 CTS. And I have never heard of CHryslers or hyundais being shipped sans brake calipers (cough*sonic*cough) |

i say the dart just cause its a bit bigger and the interior is much better in it than the veloster. But i do like that u can get the matte silver paint in the veloster turbo. Id wait till she can test drive them to compare.

Ah 2012, glad we've came all this way so that we can make decisions on cars based SOLELY on the name. If you're getting a car like the Veloster or Dart, you probably aren't getting it for the looks. Which would leave us to the nice little things inside, cost of ownership, practicality and such of each car. From what I've seen so far, I'd pick the Veloster.

Dart or Veloster is a little like asking route canal or invasive surgery? Neither choice is good, nor pleasant.

They're both ugly. But I had to go with the Dart.

between the two, hands down, the Hyundai. They have been making great strides in quality. Dodge...well we know Dodge.

You ever thought of a Scion? It is a toyota, so its going to last a while. Have one as my DD, love it, its fun, super easy to work on. Great community also. Just saying. But if hyundai or dodge, tough choice. You know there are going to be tons of aftermarket stuff for the hyundai, but it was already said that there is going to be tons of stuff from mopar for the dart..... Tough call..... But hyundai has a better warranty hehehe if it was my call, probably the dart, because companies would be needing them for r&d so you could walk away with some free goodies

I really want a Veloster! I am considering one as a DD... either that or a VW GTI.
My favorite part is the back. They are very cool looking IMO. And even cooler modded...

You can do anything with those cars. The 2.4 in them are pretty good, and now that the tc has a six speed, even better :-)
