I did purchase the FX4 lux pkg. The black 20's were looking good and I wanted to buy them, but I didnt want to pay the extra for them. Going to start looking on craigs list and e-bay to see if anyone is selling theirs. The ecoboost was only 650 more for me, maybe prices came down from 11's to 12's. Only diff I noticed from 11's to 12's was the 36 gal tank w/ ecoboost.
750 more on the sticker. And there was another 500 rebate on the 5.0 when i bought. The sticker difference went up to 895 for 2012.

15 mpg city is exactly what is one the sticker for city mpg. It will get better as you get some miles on it.

Any updates, I am seriously thinking about selling the Avalanche and getting one, that Ecoboost is so impressive. I have 2 buddies with them that love them.

Even with the procharger my Avy doesn't tow as well as I would like when this is behind it.

Cold weather will definitely bring down your MPG! Wait until Spring and they get rid of the winter blend gas...

Very very sharp F-150!!! I would have gone that round but we have a 5th wheel, so opted to go with the F-250... Congrats on the EcoBoost!!!

I've had our EcoBoost Flex since August... All I can say is the EcoBoost is simply amazing! It just continues to impress me! The Flex version of the EcoBoost is slightly different than the F-150 version. The F-150 is rated a quite a bit more torque than the Flex... The Flex version is seriously detuned from the factory.

Here is my dyno with stock tune and just a simple axle back exhaust (the Flex is incredibly quite stock). The blue line is my torque, the red line is a stock Flex's torque. Just look at that torque curve!

Our Flex pulls like it has a small V8 under the hood! The power just comes on so SMOOTH! There is a no turbo lag at all!

If we didn't need a crew cab and a bigger box for the 5th wheel hitch I wouldn't have hesitated with an F-150 EcoBoost!

gm needs to step it up on their turbo setups. Hopefully they'll use gretchen as R&D
