My wife and I have been married 8 years. I knew she was the one because there was basically no drama between us while we dated for 5 years I wasnt looking for a long term relationship especially marriage but she grew on me . We both get along great and enjoy doing our own thing. I have modded cars over the years and while she just "dosent understand" it she loves me enough to not hassle me about it unless I spend too much of our money on it...which happens from time to time plus I dont hassle her about her shoe collection. True that marriage can be alot of work but definetly worth it with the right person...although if you think being married is alot of work wait till you have a kid worth every second though!

Refreshing post. Thank you for adding a POSITIVE to this thread.

I've been single for the last year and a half, recently now in a relationship with a guy I've known for awhile.

HE - has a Harley. ME - Now I'm a biker beotch and a Camaro owner. I'm a happy girl, lol.

AND, I STILL can do what I want, when I want, and buy what I want....and SO can he.

For those of you who are still happily married, congratulations.

Facts are, 75% of marriages (3 out of 4) end in divorce within 14 years.

I dont mind being single, would be nice to enjoy life with someone. Just have to find someone worth spending time with, that doesnt have a lot of bagage. I am in my upper 30's have a good job, also doing a lot of investments ect. I have been married and divorced no kids, thank god. It has its ups and it has its downs at times, but I sure as hell dont want to end up with the wrong person like I did before.

I am a single female and I think i'm in the same boat,I let "the one" go a year ago, he was kind and everything i wanted, but he was more interested that drinking than me, so i said see ya! I'm in my mid thirties and no kids and a great job and no one to share it with! But maybe someday I will find another! But I do like being single also!

I am recently retired, single, have a nice new house and a new Camaro SS. It's great not to have to answer to anyone for anything! However, I do miss having that certain someone in my life! It's a natural fact, that a man needs a woman and a woman needs a man. We can argue that fact, but the fact remains! Of course, the key is to find the right one! If you have the "right one" don't let her go! You'll regret it like I do now!

These posts are getting kind of sappy. I feel like I am on a singles forum not a Camaro Forum. Single ladies have it easy. Posts pictures of yourselves and someone will be over you before you know it.
