Totaly different beasts. The SSR was around 40k plus and had ZERO utility with the carpeted "trunk". the Utes on the other hand, are simply built to work.

Keep in mind it's a G8 truck. Try to turn any sedan into a pickup and see what you get. Ford has a Ute made from the Australian Falcon. About the same result.
