So let me get this straight: you had it ordered, you had the money to pay it, and you still cancelled it? That just doesn't make much sense in my head. Betting you got a sunroof on the Challenger as well.

Enjoy your car.

Haha, you guys crack me up talking about how big the Challenger is compared to the Camaro. Wow, a whole 7 inches and 100 lbs. That's just a massive difference hahaha.

The Challenger rocks. I've had mine two weeks and love it more every time I drive it. I can barely get out in it without someone stopping me to take a picture.

Personally, I love the interior. I never looked at a Charger, or even sat in one so that may be why. Because of that it was brand new to my eyes. Very well layed out and makes sense.

I've said before, it all depends on what you want. If you want a MUSCLE CAR then the Challenger is the obvious choice. If you want a SPORTS CAR then the Camaro is more suitable.

0-60 times are very similar. Guys on ChallengerTalk are using the built in 0-60 timer in their RTs (yes mine has one too) and are getting 4.7 - 4.8 second times, verified with stop watches. That's quick friends.

After seeing the two in person, and being able to compare, my feels are that the...

Challenger is a big Muscle car.
Its going to be louder (stock)
And feel more like a muscle car. (straight lines.... very basic interior.)

And

The Camaro is a Sports/Muscle Car
It will handle better
And IMO it is a better design package. (Interior + Exterior... Interior of challenger isn't exciting.)

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Well its the 2nd best car Dodge makes (1st being the Viper), looks good and sounds good, enjoy. I'd be afraid that my warranty would go poof in about 3 weeks but other than that...(at least the chasis and motor are tired and true).

evic isnt a good timer....it has been proven to be inacurrate....the lowest the RT goes 0-60 is 5 flat to 5.3 in the real world.

That was a rumor started by the SRT8 guys who were mad that the R/T had this hidden feature. Several folks have confirmed the times via various means including stop watches and other performance computers installed in the car.

Once mine is broken in I'll try it myself and will find a way to insure the time is accurate on my runs. Regardless of how good, or bad, they are I'll post up honest numbers for comparison.

I guess one way to insure it's accurate is to video tape the speedo. Tape doesn't lie...if it takes 5 seconds to hit 60, it'll show on the tape time.
