But now you say a Camaro(4 seater with a trunk) should not be compared to a 370Z (2 seaters sports car)??
What's the logic behind that???
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14600
The 370Z looks pretty cool, like a cross between a 911 and a old 240Z.
Ok well let me humor you some more..since you missed the part where I said IMO..and I have never said anything about backseats in regards to any car.
Nissan 370Z is a totally different genre of vehicle **TO ME** it is not American Muscle. You know when I think Muscle Cars I think V8 rumble and torque..not a nice little silent foreign v8 or what have you? I compared the GT 500 to the Vette because it is one of the top of the line sport cars for Ford as is the Vette for GM.
V6 Mustang compared to V6 Camaro
Mustang GT compared to Camaro SS
Big Price Jump
GT 500 compared to Vette
Any other Mustang compared to The Z06

Now once again these are my thoughts..now if anyone has a problem with my thoughts or want to shut me up I have a C6 ZO6(with some goodies but its ALL MOTOR) and I will pay for the track time if any streetable mustang (nitrous/SC/Turbo) is feeling froggy..Already had my quota of Nissan Gtr's but hey I am game if they are.

I can't say that I agree with you 100% on your logic. But thanks for the reply. If I had the bucks I'd have a C6 Z06 (maybe one day) that's still my all time favorite machine!!!

Relax dude it's OK, global economy and all. I just found it a little amusing that the heartbeat of America is made in Canada.(Technically America too-part of North America).
Just us Canucks doing our best to help you guys out. Peace dude.

wtf? what is your defintion of slow??

The car does 0-60 in 4.7, .1 second slower than the SS is rumored to go, and it takes corners like a race car. This car would likely beat the camaro around any real track in the world.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

whats the point to responding to him? wasnt it obvious he was pulling excuses out of his ass to make the camaro seem like the ultimate car to himself?
while the camaro is a great car, and the one thats getting my money, that doesnt mean that the competition is miles behind it when it comes to performance.
