We have and drive both too. We need the AWD in the Winter and have a large and active family.

Generally the Traverse is awesome, however I am very disappointed with the MPG. It doesn't get much more on average than our 4x4 Suburban.

Ya, you have to baby them when it comes to throttle input, around town really hurts too. I have found driving to Georgia & Florida the MPG went way up...set the cruise and go
