1956 Truck (Chevy or GMC, not sure) with a 3 speed H shifter on the steering column.
My dad let me drive it when I was about 14 on the back roads in Big Bear Lake, California.

My Dad's new '79 Trans AM, 6.6 ltr. auto. My older brother was supposed to buy it from my dad, but backed out. His loss, my gain. Can't believe I didn't kill myself in that thing. And I had a job at a pizza place, some nights filling in as the delivery guy. Fastest pizza in town.

well the first vehicle I drove was a OLD (70s maybe even 60s) ford Pickup. on the farm. alot of family members tried to teach me how to drive on the road, but I kept ditching the vehicles lol. until I took drivers ed so that was the first car I drove.
Got my license when I was 23 in my husbands 95 mustang lol. learned how to drive a stick in a geo metro & then moved on to the my husbands 00 corvette, (after one day of driving that I wanted my own corvette) got mine & thats where I really started to learn to drive a stick lol

first thing I ever drove was a John Deere
 . Inline 3 cyl diesel with an 8 speed. I was about 12, I can remember when my dad let me shift it to 2nd for the first time.... felt like I was hauling butt.... just looked it up, 2nd gear tops out at 1.2mph
