I live in Emerson NJ, Bergen County. I'm ordering from Hawthorne Chevrolet in Hawthorne, NJ. You can speak with Stan "The Van Man" Katz. I think I actually educated him from everything on this forum and now he is up to speed and confirmed every suspicion and concern I had. They know a little bit more now than before, but I did place a $1000.00 deposit and got my Work Order Number already. The price was supposedly MSRP. Every other dealership wanted to price it anwhere between $1000.00 to $5000.00 higher. Stay away from Hackensack Chevrolet. They know nothing and marking this car up at least 5K.

I think what I'll do if Dragon says it's ok, is post a step by step with that dealer and finance manager and let you know how it went. Supposedly Hawthorne Chevrolet has the biggest allocation of all Chevrolet dealerships in the county and possibly the state. So far Stan and the internet manager there have really kept me informed, made adjustments when I asked them too and even mailed me another set of paperwork. Unfortunately every option on the paperwork says "W/A" instead of the actual price. What does that mean anyway? If I can help you, I absolutely will!

There is so much that we share back and forth, and stuff that our country openly "trades" with the US, even thought we still get ****ing shafted over it. (softwood lumber, fresh water, vehicles, electricity just to name a few)

So to sum up quickly, if you want us all to go back to the early 1900's and start again, GO AHEAD! Until then GET OVER IT!
We're your northern neighbors that heavily depend on you, and whether YOU realize it or not, the US heavily relies on Canada as well.

Sounds like more of an "All American, uninformed" generalization to me.
And Mexico. Cheap labor is always a profit. Although their economy is 5x worse than the U.S. economy.
