Exactly. I don't see how he's saving any money with the second car.

gas milage isnt any part of my rational when buying a vehicle. Im used to getting 15-20, anything over that is bonus. why suffer in a little mini car with no toys and no features and an awful ride with no power to get 10 miles more per gallon. big whoop. give me a V8 any day!
and I dont think saying you want an american car is racist. I know where the camaro is built, I also know where most of the car parts are sourced. Ill take 70% over 0% any day.

Umm this statement is highly flawed. The Camaro was engineered and designed in America and Canada as a joint venture, final design was done at Holden Australia due to similarities with their line, then built in Canada. It was NOT COMPLETELY DESIGNED IN CHINA, not even 1% of it. If your going to post something please research your facts first as posting faulty information benifits no one...

leave the pogo stick at home because you have plenty of japanese cars to choose from....

And if you own an asian car, then its probably a japanese car that happened to be in asia at some point...but if you look at it like that then get what ever car youd like cause if driving it in the US then your rollin in an American car....
I am very confused by this comment... This post makes me wonder if you know what Asia is.

I test drove the Volt last weekend, along with the convertible Camaro (V6) at the Camino Real Chevrolet event we had and the Volt picks up quick! More than the V6 did. I was quite surprised.

I bought my Honda a year and a half before the Camaro. It was not purchased just to save gas. It's a 4 door car that serves me well for day to day activities with my family. I didn't trade it for the camaro and decided to keep it since I have a long commute.

I wasn't expecting anything positive from anyone on this forum about this post. As I said before, this is my 3rd camaro and have no issues with it. What is so wrong about having the best of both worlds?

in my opinion, nothing is wrong with having the best of both worlds.
In fact, I'm buying a CNG Civic to drive around town.
natural gas is $1.70 a kilogram, and no wait lines for CNG at a station, regardless of gas prices.

When they make a electric car that gos 800mi in one day only needs to fill up 1 time, and that dos not take more then 10 min, and can go as fast as i want, with a good AC on in 123 degrees days and run 200,000 - 400,000 mi before it need a new battery pack, that dos not cast more then a new LS3 motor, then i will think of maybe buying that P.O.S. car.
