It wasn't about the car being faster - the Civic guy knew it wasn't - to him the win was getting under the skin of the Camaro guy and he won. I can just imagine that he was laughing his head off during the race. What makes me laugh is all the people (replying to the video) getting all emotional about it - if you're the kind of person that can be influenced by the Civic guy - then maybe you have low self esteem. Put it this way - if you were driving a Bugatti Veyron - would you let yourself get goaded? No - because you KNOW you have the better car. The Camaro guy clearly felt he needed to "prove" something because he isn't confident in where he stands; he felt slighted because he felt he didn't get the recognition he felt he deserved. "People are supposed to fear my car!! How dare that insolent Civic challenge me!!??"

Personally I was laughing with the Civic guy, and laughing at the Camaro guy. From the moment the Civic guy opened his mouth, I knew he was a heckler/joker (the big grin on his face is a big giveaway) but the Camaro guy just fell for it hook line and sinker. You can see a vein on the Camaro guy's forehead at the Macdonalds while he's ranting with froth in his mouth whilst the Civic guy is trying to stop himself from laughing.

Don't know if you noticed but the uh... description of the video on youtube says: "Some fun I had with a friend early on in 2008. Yes, he's a friend I know and we were just messing around. The acting (if you can call it that) is obviously fake. But, it was all done on the spot - no script - and the racing is 100% real. Enjoy!"
