wow I just saw the video, did you see the guy driving the challenger wait about 1-1.5 seconds to move so the bullit could gaint some ground...they said the bullit does 0-60 in 13.7. this mustang cannot keep up with the RT or the SRT8. btw you picked an edmunds video? ask the forum if edmunds is reliable. you will here a loud NO.

I would say (and Ive driven both) that the bullitt is faster. Yes the R/T has the power advantage, however the bullitt is about 600lbs lighter.

And even if it does come down to .1 -.3 apart (which is almost unnoticeable by the driver) It would FEEL much more nimble and fast.

Ps. check it out, i ranked the SRT 2nd just for you Kev-o

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I've seen the comparison test Kevin is talking about. The Bullitt had a .1 lead in 0-60, but the Challenger R/T had a .1 lead in the quarter mile.

The Bullitt is 300 lbs. lighter, not 600. However, the Challenger has about 60-hp on the Bullitt. Both are excellent cars.

thank you that was my point....the RT's hp and tq increase makes it balance out or even edge itslef over the bullet in the 1/4th,

if you want to be dead honest, in the real world it would be a drivers race. Both cars are great and are a part of muscle history.

ugh fanboys make me giggle like a school girl.

ok fine well go your route...the challenger is a boat with a huge high powering engine

and the mustang is a light boat with a puny lawnmower engine..

understand? good

btw good job making the pic of the challenger wider while making the mustang pic and keeping it the same size.

epic fail on your photoshoping skill.

sometimes the people that squeez into this wonderfull forum amaze me.

No sir-

The Challengers 6.1 should not go against the BULLITT under any circumstances...it should be tested against the Camaro SS and the GT500.....All Out Boats.

You cant call the Mustang a boat, the biggest Mustang has to be the GT500 ONLY! And maybe a Saleen or 2.....

The BULLITTS 3v is not puny at all, matter a fact, its better than that 5.9 or 6.1 in the RT.

I didnt photoshop ither of those, I google Challenger and I google BULLITT.

Epic Fail on your behalf.

how so explain...and I was talking about the 5.7 l RT not the srt8 the srt8 should be put up against the gt500...we are talking about the RT. SRT8 just beats up on the bullit too much to compare. and yes your puny 4.6 needs to get bumped ASAP. keep calling the challenger a boat, i guess a boat is faster on land than a mustang...pretty sad.

The SE has 315? HP the stock Mustang GT has 300HP.

look I am going to help you out since it seems like you are misinformed. the challenger SE is a v6 the mustang gt is a v8....you need to compare the challenger RT which is the base model v8 with 375 hp and 400lb tq to the mustang gt v8 which has 300 hp

Thats not fair at all, of course the RT is better....The Mustang V6 cant be competition with the SE Challenger, the RT has to be comp. with the BULLITT, the SRT needs to be comp. with the GT500 I rest my case.
