Yeah, it gets annoying when the Mustang fanboys come over and start bashing our car, but there are plenty of Mustang/Challenger owners here who get along fine with everyone else. As long as you don't troll about your car, you're fine in my book.

Unfortunately for you (apparently) Chewy, This site was created to talk about all things Camaro...INCLUDING it's competitors...because you don't ignore your 'enemy'.

In addition to this, there is an "Other Cars" section for a reason. If you don't want to talk about "other cars" then please stay out of that section. I promise it will save you a lot of stress and frustration. But we will NOT prevent people from talking about Challengers, or Mustangs, or Nissans, or Corvettes, or BMWs....(we may ban talk about the Prius, though...).

We pride ourselves on having a wonderful membership that's respectful of one another, and very tolerant of discussion outside our title. We will not jeopardize that reputation by excluding people from the site just because they don't live, breath, and bleed Camaro. Sorry.

Camaro means "Friend, pal, or Comrade". As such, we don't exclude anybody with enough interest in the car to join a dedicated enthusiast forum.

I wouldn't say lazy, but complacent. When the f-body ceased production, they really had no incentive to step up the performance of the Mustang. They had no direct competitor. As others have pointed out, in the absence of competition, there really is no business reason to do more than make subtle improvements to the car.

I'm pretty sure, given the length of time that it's taken GM to get the Camaro in production, they were fully aware of what would be coming. I figure they just have their own priorities and timelines for what they want to do that is independent of anything that GM does.

You are by coming on here and bashing every other car with no actual facts to back it up. I agree wit you when you say that the Camaro is a great car. But you can't expect people not to defend their cars on a car enthusiast website.
