as much as I wouldn't buy one they are amazingly reliable. my ex's brother has one and he would stop doing 70 miles an hr with the neutral gear, drive the car with 50,000miles and no oil change of any kind, had the motor rebuilt and the person who rebuilt it didn't put the engine mounts on right, the differential is making a crazy noise, but you know what its still driving.

Great economy cars, yes- good on gas, reasonably resilient. But racecars, they are not.

You want performance, get a performance car. Don't buy an econobox, put a fartcan and some badges on it and try to mess with Camaros...
