Yeah, it was good all the way up until Yuri's Revenge. C&C3 started the downhill slide.

EA has a way with d'king up games.

for a 56k, working optimally ... about 6 1/2 days. So probably more like 2 weeks since connections are almost always slower than advertised.

That sounds about right actually. For some stupid reason, modems are usually measured in bits/s while download status monitors are in bytes. Since 8b=1B, your 24kb/s should download at 3kB/s, which apparently it does.

So at 2.5-3 kB/s, thats 16-19 days.

Unless you gave me kilobits both times ... in which case it would be 4-5 months.

Wow, I'm really bored right now

You are correct, I have noticed it too latley.

When a thread reaches it limits for a next page.
The next page numbers is displayed, before there is a 51 first.
click page 3 and you just end up at the end of page 2.

seen it several times these past few weeks.

Download took ~45 minutes. Game started up without an install. Then I had to go and take care of other things before I got to play. Though I did see the intro-movie. Very impressive graphics. That is all.
