sorry but...
1. saying 'i love you' has some serious weight to it (esp with women). don't say it lightly.
2. an insincere 'sorry' is just as bad as not saying it at all.
3. going back to your old ways will just put you both back in the same situation

it usually ain't easy, but you both need to sit down and explain the situation to each other, and listen to both points of view. you can't fix what you don't know's broke, so when you both get your frustrations out, work together to find a solution that fits you both (even if the solution might be breaking up). the best things in life never come easy. good relationships require work & communication from both people - just ask anybody who's happily married.
