Fyi I've had these other issues with the car. It wasn't just the clutch but it pushed me over the edge.

-wheels scratched during shipping
-bumper scratched during shipping
-rear bumper misaligned
-noisy rear axle
-injector o-rings leaking gas
-leaky trunk

whether it is chevy, ford, or chrysler, we are at their mercy when it comes to warranty work.

You shouldnt expect anything with the mods you have. Thats the way the game is played. You play, you pay. I understand your upset about this but its a lesson learned.

The first three of that list and maybe the fourth is something thats your fault for not catching in your PDI.

I also wanted to add that I can only wish I had a 2010 GT500 to complain about, good luck in the future.

Once the mods start it is a crap shoot for warranty.

You have to find the mod friendly dealers.

Hold on a second, I ordered the car. Went over it with them the day it came in and pointed everything out. Ford wouldn't do anything to assist the dealer. Eventually the dealer ate it but I had to fight.

I'd like to clear everything up here.

1) I ordered this car in May of 09 to my specs

2) Took delivery in late July of 09

3) Ran into issues during delivery that Ford would not cover

4) Finally got issues covered after fight with dealer

5) Drove the car as a daily driver until Nov. It was parked until late March 2010.

6) Modded it with 7k and then took it to an open track day and did 9 passes

7) Car stated to fail in early June and it was taken to the dealer on June 5th

8) Sat at dealer until 7/2 waiting on a clutch/flywheel install

9) McLeod was damaged during install by dealer

10) Car was down again for a few more weeks, OEM still on back order so repaired McLeod was reinstalled

11) McLeod unit still very noisy at low RPM

12) Bill to be was a little over $1800 bucks

12) Ford's only assistance is an extended warranty on a 2011 Fiesta I was going to buy as a DD
