NHL Lockout - Page 4

The last time they had a partial season they came to an agreement by Jan 11 and started playing Jan 22(I think).

My thought is, if no deal by the 15 or 30th of Jan, the season will be called?? Any thoughts???

It certainly doesn't look promising. I lost a lot of interest in Hockey the first time they did this. They really are not helping themselves here IMO.

I read today that Daly acted like the deadline was mid January. So we will see. Honestly not looking promising

They are talking again, are we going to have a shortened season or they won't get it done in time and just cancel the season??????

The lockout is actually over guys! I never thought it would happen after the past few months of negotiations, to be honest.

No announcement on season length, but I've heard if it's 50-games it'll start Jan 15, if it's 48 it'll start the 19th.

I think it's still a long road ahead of the NHL to bring fans back, let's just hope they don't make the same mistakes they did before...

Great news!! Now, this is what every fan in every NHL city should do if and when they play their first game, STAY HOME!! Boycott the first game and let the owners have their first game in a empty arena!

Problem with part of it, season ticket holders already PAID for their seats, so owners don't care if you show up, they have your money.

Why would I want to boycott the first game when I've waited so long for the season to even start again? Seems like that would be just delaying it even more for me!

This is probably a long shot but, I'm on the road for work in the Washington DC area. If anyone wants to go to a caps game (if they play the flyers

) I would be totally down.
