It's taking long for me as well.

I'm betting its because everyone got the same viral notice you put out here and everyone is trying to download it at once.

I still got the beta version of the new OS.... got it running on my iMac too.... its like having a 27" iphone

Looks like that's it. I kept getting an internal error and apparently it's because Apple's servers are swamped with downloads right now. I JUST got my iphone finished, so now onto the ipad.

the beta didn't take long at all..... thats my thoughts. I need to update my C5 app..... it won't work on the new OS yet
