The manuals are seeing 112mph on a regular basis. The A6 looks to be geared better than the manual from the factory.

This Sucks!!! The fastest E.T.s for a stock stick Camaro is 12.58 at 110 and for the stick Mustang 12.58 at 112. Which happened last weekend in NY! The fastest E.T. for a stock auto Camaro is 12.86 at 108 and the Mustang now has a 12.73 at 115! And they've only been out a month!

I agree for the car enthusiast that competition is a good thing. Hopefully it will make GM step it up! It sucks because like you said when fall rolls around they may gain another 2-3 tenths! I had figured on it being a lil more evenly matched which doesnt look like the case! Ford really steped up on this one.

OK I was very impressed by the new mustangs times but come on I didn't drop my jaw LOL... BTW the guys from Vindicated were very cool and it was nice to meet them. Those 13.0's are what I was running bone stock I was getting shitty 60's all night,I ran a best of 12.79 at 111 mph last night (not bad for just long tubes) and took home the trophy for first place..

Totally agree ... I think Ford has done a great job with the new mustang .. they were able to keep the weight down and the engine makes great HP .. Competition and only be good .. the camaro wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for competition!! ..

Can't confirm the car was stock but apparently a guy went a 12.73 @ 115mph in what he claims is a stock 2011 GT with the automatic A6. Said the car has 400 miles on the ODO.

About 3-5 Camaros a day and 1-2 10/11 Mustangs and Challengers a week. Did see a grabber blue 10 GT500 with white stripes yesterday, VERY nice

Interesting note: Last night saw a Black 2010 GT in parking lot. His car ALSO had some kind of factory looking hood scoop that sat directly on top of the "power dome".

I have to say, this wide non-functional scoop, looked kinda cool, as the scoop was not that tall, but it was a very wide slot. Interestingly, I have never seen that scoop anywhere not even in any photos.

That the scoop/ it comes as a factory option package on the Stang.

Often you only get one glance at the front end since most cars you see are in the opposite traffic lane. And so far, I've never noticed a single powerbuldge hood on a new Mustang while driving. Its too hard to pick out that particular detail, which is the main front end difference from the previous cars. Its easy if you are driving behind a 2010+ Mustang because of how Ford screwed up the back end. Maybe you can pick out more details from a 1/2 second glance with a closing rate of 100 mph or more, I know I can't.
But you can tell a ZR1 from a regular C6 vette in those conditions.

It is as easy to tell the difference between the mustangs as it is the corvettes.

This would explain that video of the 2011 GT A6 running the 2010 L99 on that airstrip.
